SongSpace at First Unitarian is a celebration of folk, Americana, singer-songwriter, old-time, acoustic blues, and world music, featuring local, regional and national artists. We are dedicated to establishing a welcoming and meaningful space both for making and listening to quality music. Our shows are open to the public. SongSpace is located in the First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh, 605 Morewood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
SongSpace Sanctuary Stage
We present five shows a year of high quality local, regional and national artists. Past shows have featured artists ranging from John Gorka, Tracy Grammer and Tish Hinojosa, to Matthew Tembo, Erynn Marshall & Carl Jones, Ernie Hawkins, and The Stray Birds. SongSpace Gallery Stage
SongSpace Gallery is a series of coffeehouse or house-concert style shows, presented mostly in our Undercroft Gallery, but sometimes in other spaces such as the Bradley Garden at First Unitarian Church. Past artists have included Brad Yoder, Amy Kucharik, Greg Klyma, Rebecca Loebe, Jesse Terry, Anna & Elizabeth, Kai Roberts, Jon Banuelos, Scott Prouty Susie Vinnick, and Ethan Setaiwan. A free-will donation is requested, with all proceeds going to our artists. Feel free to bring a snack to pass, as well. See our Facebook page for the latest details!
Our venues are smoke-free and accessible. On-street parking is available adjacent to our venue.
